kaeken (pronounced kye-ken) is a creative bag store, producing experimental works that are unique and crafted with immense attention to details and a fine workmanship. we are a fun and playful store creating stuff that we would like to have for ourselves too!
it started as a little online project in 2008, showcasing experimental styles that we thought up of and produced on the old, trusty, portable home sewing machine that we own. we are constantly searching for new materials and thinking up better, quirkier designs to complement emerging styles in your closets. every design that we create is limited in quantity, with many of them limited to just a single edition. one thing that remains constant, and well known to all our supporters, is in our uncompromising quality stitches.
at kaeken, we pride ourselves as a slow fashion maker. each piece of work is created only upon receiving your order. we do keep a small stock of the various types of material that are used to create our products but we do not fabricate our products in bulk like fast fashion brands. there is no waste or excess stock in our inventory and our pricing remains true to our efforts put directly into the making of the work itself. we are an ultra-slow and small store that is focused on quality and creativity.
